Good Steel but Durability Issues
I purchased the STEP Steel as an upgrade to the standard stock steel. The steel holds and edge nicely and provides a solid feel on the ice. Unfortunately, after a few months of ownership my steel broke after getting a pass off the blade in a pick-up session. I contacted the company by e-mail and letter but never received a response. This was disappointing as I was expecting a stronger more durable steel than the stock steel but must have just gotten a bad piece of steel. Overall, it's decent steel but I wouldn't necessarily buy it again, especially since it is more expensive than the LS3 which is of equivalent quality.
