OK - I'm an Easton skater so all you Bauer guys go easy on me. I've had Step runners on my S15/S17 skates and loved them. I just went into Easton EQ50s and hated the runners - complete trash in my opinion. Lightweight but felt like soft aluminum on the ice. Not a deep firm cut or edges into the ice. I also had to have them sharpened twice in two weeks. Ordered a new pair of Step runners and WHAT a world of difference. Slightly heavier but you can feel them under your feet and their response to the ice. Nice firm cuts into the ice so you can really hang out there and hit the brakes when needed. Speed increased as well while increasing manueverability. Well worth the investment if you are not a fan of your current blades!
