Perfect product to save on tape!

These shin pad sleeves are extremely nice and they prevent you in having to tape your shin guards in place. I have 16” CCM Tack 9040 shin guards and they have 2 straps. The top one is not elastic and the bottom one is big and thick. I used to have to tape my shin guards in place with clear tape but not anymore. I went out with these the day I received them. If you are using sports tape to tape your shin guards in place then this is the solution to your problem. No more wasting money on buying sports tape so these will pay for itself after a few uses. It is stretchy and it fits perfectly over my very well padded and thick shin guards and my shin guards were chosen because I play D and I block a lot of shots. These have never allowed my shin guard to move out of place. I would’ve bought this sooner if I knew this was a thing.

These are really nice if you have shinnys that have worn out elastic or you don’t like to use tape. They stay tight and in place all game.

These sleeves are outstanding for wearing shin guards under warm up pants or referee pants. They can be used regularly by players also and they save tape.

Goal Accomplished!

If you are having trouble with tape, these do the trick! Very good quality and the senior size fit my 6'2" 14 year old perfectly. He would constantly be bending down to adjust his shin pads even when they were taped. The minute he put these on over his shin pads the constant adjustment ended. Solid shin sleeves!

These shin sleeves seem to do the job quite well. However, one of my sleeves is already starting to come apart down at the bottom. The thread has come off and is starting to unravel. Oh well, I guess I just have to be more careful when putting them over my skate to not get it caught on anything that could snag.

Good alternative to tape

Good product. Hasn't changed in design or materials over the years. The lower parts take the most stress and tend to tear eventually, but these should last a year or so.
