Nexus
The curvature rather than fully rectangle grip is a very nice change & easier to grip. Light weight makes it *chefs kiss*
Nice stick for the price
Really nice feel with the 5 sided shaft, very ergonomic for slap shots. Holds up fine so far after 6+ games.
Cautious on this purchase
tip cracked in first 6 minutes of the game right out of the box.
Durable and a good bang for your buck
Have used this for about a year of beer league games and there are 0 chips or nicks on the blade and shaft. Took a little bit to get used to the pentagonal shape but it does fit in your hand better than a traditional stick. Great feel when receiving passes, pretty good feel for puck handling. It has a little less pop than my True A5, but it is holding up a lot better.
Nexus>Vapor IMO
Great stick. First time using a Nexus, been a Vapor guy for 10+ years. After a handful of games with it I'm hooked.
I like it!
Beer league player here. Most expensive stick I've ever bought and therefore also the best. As it's still nearly half the price of a high end stick, I feel I just cant give it 5 stars. Definitley added some oomph to my shot though and happy with the purchase!
Great performance/value
This is a great stick for the intermediate player. Feel as the stick provides the right flex/weight for 13-15 years old.
Slapshot with NextGen Nexus
Have yet to use stick on ice officially, has the ideal curve for puck handling and looks well built to withstand many years of abuse. Also looking to get newer Vapor hyperlite stick within next handful of months. #hockeyisforeveryone
I
Is the stick light like I’m getting it next week and I’m scared it’s gonna be heavy the lite sticks make me have better shots and better puck control and I don’t have money for any other stick
Love The ER Spine Technology!!!
It's definitely an upgrade from my N2900. I don't feel a weight difference. But I do believe the 3N is approximately 20 grams heavier. I've played in two games with this stick. The biggest difference I see/feel is how easy it is to load and release. The ER Spine makes a difference. The puck come off the blade harder and faster. I'm very happy with my purchase!
Similar to Nexus Geo
I bought this as a back up stick. It is similar to the Nexus Geo but much less $$
Great stick!
Dynamic stick, great for all around use, and light as a feather. 5 games in so far and it’s been great.
Perfect for big shot D.
My high school sophomore was looking for a stiffer mid-kick stick. Saw this one in the shop, it went home with us, and now he's completely in love. He plays D, so shoots from the point a lot, and says it's just perfect. Can't speak to the durability yet, but I had an older Nexus that's still in our garage, so we have high hopes.
Purchase of Nexus 3N Hockey Stick
Great low to mid-range stick for the price. I've noticed an increase in my shot power since using this stick and it feels great in the hand.
Light with good pop
So far, so good. Very light for this price point. The unique stick geometry feels locked in my glove. Has good pop and the P92 curve elevates shots with ease. Can’t give it 5 stars yet because I can’t comment on durability. I’ve only used it a handful of times
Bauer Nexus 3N stick review
The 5 sided shaft definitely gives a different feeling in your hand as it is a little thicker but over all I think it is a good stick and seems durable.
Switched from Bauer 900 lite to Nexus 3N
Outstanding! The grip! The brand Bauer is my favorite! I went from a 900 lite stick to Nexus. I had switched from time to time. I truly like the puck control & feel of the Nexus. This composite actually has a 5 side shaft. This provide a better feel. Very comfortable!
Bad design for a hockey stick
Rounding in back of this stick makes it perform very differently. Changed the accuracy of my shots tremendously. Couldn’t elevate shots. Almost impossible to go top shelf without feeling like you are flipping or trying to lift the puck.
13 year hockey stick
Son loves it! He is 13. Did Crack after about 8 uses but the return policy is great and he got the same stick. Only reason rated it a 4 was since it broke after such little use.
Great Stick but only lasted 6 weeks
The 3N is an excellent stick, my son loves it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that we only had it about 6 weeks and my Son Snapped it in half making a shot. We did buy two more since he loves the stick and will see if they last longer.
Great feeling stick
Love the 5 sided shaft on this stick. Blade is a little pingy but not too bad.
Latest but not tested
2 months after purchase of this newest model the shaft broke in half. (120 lb, 14 y/ old)
Good stick all around
I got this stick for christmas and it is an amazing stick, you can take a good slap shot with it. And also it’s light, it’s not stiff at all, this stick is making me stick with bauer nexus.
All around beaut of a stick
i bought this about two months ago, and still really love it. i have never tried nexus sticks before and i am so surprised that it exceeded my expectations for a bauer stick. durability is great, gotten a couple hard slashes and it’s still held up with barely any scratches. the five sides is so comfortable in your hands as well. i typically don’t like thick sticks at all but… read more i really really have enjoyed the five sides. pretty light too. if you want a geo like me but it’s just out of the price range, this stick is almost exactly the same besides the weight. overall 9.5/10
Decent
I got this about 2 months ago but there are a few chips in the blade already
