Nice protective girdle
This is my first introduction to using a girdle & shell combo. I've paired this with the Bauer 2S shell which has some extra padding and velcro. I've used this for a few games now and so far I really like it. It's flexible while being more form fitting. I haven't absorbed any pucks or hard falls yet, but thus far it's more protective than the pants I wore for years.
Nice, but could be better
I like the padding and the adjustable fit of the product. Protection is great for men's league. The big drawback is that they slide down and there isn't an addequate belt or tie system to keep them in place. I currently use skate laces.

Loved by my son. He can dress faster and has greater mobility on the ice.
Quality Issues Starting to Creep Into Bauer Gear?
Velcro patches are already ripping off at the seams after two practices. A bit disappointing.
Great Protection
Great girdle that provides superior protection and adjustment. The fit however is something I'll need to to get adjusted to, coming from loser fitting traditional pants. These pants really hug your body and are a very streamlined fit. Once I wear them in a bit they'll probably feel more natural to me. These allow for excellent ventilation and perspiration absorption and velcro adjustment tabs make adjustment very easy and quick.

we bought this as a girdle replacement for our 12 year old daughter. she loves it. same fit, with a bit more padding and obviously not warn out.
