Speed Skin doesn't last
Speed Skin is peeling already after 2 weeks of use. The set we bought last year wore through skin down to inner padding resulting in wearing out in 1/2 season and couldn't easily be repaired. Thought it was just that set but now see peeling already it appears to be a design issue with CCM. Will have to look for a different brand for the next set.
Good leg pads, per my HS goalie son.
“Good pads” according to him ;). Takes a little time to break them in, but that’s probably normal. Easy/quick to put on - good toe clips.
Great pads with some durability issued
I have had these pads for about a year now and I love them. On the down side though I have had many durability issues. He has been in the e-flex line for 3 seasons, and these are the next step for him.… read more And he has worn a knee-thigh guard (Warriors) under all pads along the way, but these do not come with one.
Pads look Great
Buying Pads during COVID was good in fact that Pure had some good deals going on. But that also meant no rinks are open yet. So stay tuned- don’t think wearing your new pads around the house would lend for a creditable review.
Nice
I would advise purchasers that they also knee and thigh protectors that don’t come with the pads.
