Ratings and Reviews
Good training accessory
It’s a very good practice accessory. Takes time to get it to straighten flat (because it comes rolled up). Read reviews that had issues with pucks sliding so we bought 3 different types; they all worked perfectly fine (normal rubber 8 and 6 and green biscuit)
Nice but not perfect
It's not as slick as they show in the commercials, but it works. Green Biscuits work better than pucks. We mostly use if for shooting practice to protect our sticks.
Passing kit
it works good but hard to get it to lay flat on the ends aside from using tape to get it to stay done
Extreme passing kit
Based on other reviews, we bought the green biscuit to use with it, which is working well for my 12-year old son. So far, he’s using it only indoors for stick-handling due to the weather, but he really likes it and is definitely helping improve his puck skills. Thanks to the staff at PH in Fairfield NJ, who were very helpful locating this specific model in the store on Christmas… read more Eve.
Nice product
Works well. Takes a little time to get it flat. I bought it in the summer so left it in the sun which flattened it out pretty well.
Can’t get to lay flat!!
I have had this for months and still can’t get it flat. Tried weights, reverse roll it, nothing. Not sure what else to do! Hoping manufacturer can help with this problem especially for the price paid.
Hockeyshot Extreme passing kit
This passing kit helps with driveway shooting practice. It’s a great solution to practicing passing shots on net. So far we’ve had it for about a month and it seems durable.
Hockey shot
Enjoying the product. It’s kind of heavy and cumbersome to move around
Okay
Okay, but too expensive in my opinion. Puck moves well on the board, but the band is not super stable so the puck can come off pretty wobbly. Seems more like a $60-$80 item
Not impressed
We like the size of this shooting pad however it has been a week of laying flat with weights on it and it is still not flat enough to use the entire surface. Disappointed. Thinking I should have bought tiles instead.
Worth the money
Read all the reviews before I purchased and was a little worried about getting it to lay flat. Not a problem at all follow the directions and no issues. Kids love it and I can't hardly get them to go to bed now.
HockeyShot Extreme
HockeyShot Extreme is better than expected my son uses it indoors, in the family room every day and occasionally outside with a net, practicing his top shelf shots.
Helps but nothing spectacular and overpriced
My stick speed has improved but the band could be a little wider. Sometimes the puck goes over or under the band and stuck in the casing which disrupts my flow. Also, the sheet gets dirty very quickly and slows the puck down alot. I find myself having to wipe it down constantly and spraying some furniture polish on it helps increase the puck speed and glide. As stated by another… read more reviewer, it's waaaaaay overpriced! Should be like half the price for something this size.
Great Workout for passing, receiving and shooting
The pad definitely needs to be flat on the ground or it causes the pucks to bounce which in turn doesn't work well with the passer/re-bounder.
Great Product!
I got this for the kids (9 and 7) to work on stick handling and passing drills inside the house. They love it and use it daily. It does take a day to lay flat but we just put some weights on the corners and it's not an issue at all. The passer works really well and is a lot of fun. Pucks work alright but we have found the green biscuits work best. Every now and then use some… read more Pledge on it and it will be super slick, just be careful if you walk on it.
Bad setup
I just bought this today and setting up was a pain and i will not lay flat at all. While setting it up i got very scratched up. All in all tho it does rebound very nicely and the puck glides well.
Good sturdy product
Good product, kind of a pain to get the synthetic sheet to lay flat as it comes rolled up in the box. Set it up in our basement and it took three days of piling stuff on it to get it usable. Does a great job forcing a good flat pass as it will not return a wobbling puck.
Jury Still Out
Have now tried 3 puck types to see which slides well. We learned from our first mistake (don't get rubber ones). We learned from our 2nd (Green Biscuits seem to work). We learned again from our 3rd (IDS ProShot Inline puck) that it's too tall to fit into the return mechanism of the passing kit. I hope HockeyShot just simplifies everything in the future and includes the right… read more puck! Extremely frustrating, and I'm not yet sure whether we'll ever find this a 4Star plus product because of it.
Works well!
I bought this as a birthday present to my 11 year old 1 month ago. He really likes it! We were worried it wouldn't come back flat, but followed the instructions and it did, in about 48 hours. He enjoys passing the puck and also uses it to shoot into a various targets in a goal.
Not as good as it looks!
Bought this the other day and pretty much impossible to get it to lay flat on the ground! We’ve tried everything and now it’s all scratched up from being moved around while trying to assemble and get it to lay flat! Maybe in the hot months it will finally be flat! Not worth the money!
Son loves it.
Bought this product to help my 4 year old to receive passes. We are using this, yes I said we, in so many different ways now. I'm trying to teach him how to lift the puck. We put this in front of a net, if he can't lift it, the puck comes right back to him. Speed drills are his favorite. All in all its what I expected and works as it should. It's very versatile so your creativity… read more will benefit you the most.
Great Passer!
I bought this a few weeks ago and I am so glad I got it. It is perfect to practice stick handling on and practicing clean passes. The one thing that was tough about this passer was that unless you pass directly at the rebounder it won’t give a strong pass back. Other than that, this is a great product and I highly recommend it.
Grandkids love it
I bought this for my 12 y/o granddaughter. She loves it. She and her twin sister use it to practice their passing skills
