These are great. I have Bauer compression pants with the Velcro that attaches to these, the system works great. These socks are lightweight, and they help keep my shins in place. I am 5' 9" and I got the senior size, which fits great (I like that I have enough length so that I can bend my knees without any real strain being put on the Velcro connection). I feel for the reviewer… read more who's 6' 4" (if I understood correctly) who said he wishes they were longer so that they would work better for someone of his height. Works great for my height, though. I bought them in a local Monkey Sports store.

Lightweight. Dry fast.

I love the monkeysport mesh socks. I have home/away sets for every team that I play for, and a black pair for drop-in. They are much lighter than traditional knit socks, don’t tear as easily, and they don’t absorb water. They also keep my upper legs much cooler. I just wish they were a few bucks cheaper, but it’s hard to argue with the performance.

Run small

Adult size fits like intermediate in other brands. I'm under 64" tall, and these were just long enough to catch the velcro tabs. Snug fit over shin guards. These do not have tab extensions; the velcro fabric is iside the top hem. Fabric is heavier than other brands, but not as thick as cut-resistant ones. Should hold up well against snags and tears.
