Outstanding Extra Protection

I purchased skate fenders as an addition to my protective gear because I take alot of pucks to the feet as a defenseman and my feet were really taking a beating, since starting to use them I have taken many more. These things are really great I can tell you these are saving my feet from some intense pain they cover the instep as well as the sides, they are easy to put on and take… read more off and don't interfere with your skating. I said they were a little expensive but worth the money. If you play defense then these are for you.

Worth every penny!

I have taken many pucks to the fee and not felt a thing since buying these. I do take a bit of good natured ribbing from the guys, but I don't mind one bit. I have a real job and appreciate not getting hurt playing hockey.

Awesome Protection, Not Thought Through

I had surgery on my foot over the summer and I now have an incision with built up scar tissue on the inside of my foot, near the ball. I needed to get really wide skates without actually getting a wide. I bought the Flexlite 4.0s and I love them. However, they are unbelievably soft. Without these fenders, I would have broken either of my feet every time I took a puck or slash off… read more my skate. That's where these come in. The only problem is, over the course of three collegiate practices and games, I've torn two of the velcro straps. They are really worthless. Now I just use skate laces which actually work better, but look pretty stupid. But for the protection, you can't beat them.

Awesome innovation!!!!!

These are fantastic, i take heaps of pucks off the feet and i dont even feel it! i even find my self intentionally blocking passes and shots with these on my feet because i know they are good. I had to start wearing these as i lost a toe in an accident with a horse on the farm so the nerves in my left foot have become very sensitive to shock, im stoked with the performance of these.
