Great buy
Great stick for a 10 year old!! Perfect length, flex , and curve for my player!
Like the extra flex
The narrowed neck of the stick really increases the flex. My son is very tall and not that heavy, so the extra flex really makes a difference when he send the puck around the boards or on wrist shots. He and I noticed the difference immediately.
Loves it
Bought for my 14 year old who had never had a stick over $100. He loves the feel, weight and power he feels he gets with the upgrade
Great stick but...
Stick is extremely light with great feel. My only complaint is that the end cap popped off right away.
QREdge!
The first thing I noticed when stepping on the ice with the Qr Edge is how light in the hands it feels. Not crazy light, just right thanks to Warriors new Minimus Carbon 1200. Stick handling feels awesome and responsive. The QrEdge has a square shaft geometry with a nice coat of grip. I’ve noticed Warrior has gone with a slightly textured grip on the top corners and sides… read more of the shaft leaving the bottom of the shaft without any texture. Now lets talk about that Edge taper. A cool looking taper Warrior has designed to help magnify power and quick release. Warrior has done a great job outlining the Edge taper lines with the popping oranges in the design. The first few shot felt a little odd, but once I found that sweet spot again, woah, watch out! The shots came off quick and hard! Even when taking a slap shot, the puck came off stronger than its predecessor. I also found that with the new Edge taper, the QrEdge has a more predictable and accurate shot.
Lightweight And Easy To Load
From the first time you pick up this stick you will love how light it is and how balanced it feels. The confidence it will give you on the ice is unparalleled and will only increase as you start shooting with it. You will be firing shots with near effortless power because of how easy it loads. From any position or angle you will be able to get shots off fast and powerful.
Very light and Full of Energy
First thing I noticed about the stick was how light it was. I also noticed it was balanced well and I could get a good flex on the stick. Taking it out on the ice I noticed I was getting a quicker release than my usual sticks with some power behind it. The taper is different than other sticks out on the market. I only had to adjust my shot a little because it was easy to get good… read more accuracy. I highly recommend this stick!
The next best stick from Warrior
Pick up the new QREdge and the first thing you'll notice is how lightweight the stick is. Coming in at just over 400 grams it is one of the lightest sticks that Warrior has ever offered. Take the stick to the ice and you'll notice a new angular Edge taper design. The feel of this new low kickpoint taper design results in more consistent pop on your shots. Loading on this stick… read more is incredibly easy which will give you a much quicker release. I've also noticed that the change in the taper results in less vibration and better puck control when receiving hard passes and firing one timers. This means better accuracy. The carbon weave on this stick has also been upgraded over the previous low kick QRL. The durability of this stick is much better than previous releases. I've had this stick on the ice approximately three times a week over the last three months. The blade and hosel have held up very well and I do not notice a significant drop off in the pop (dead shaft). Finally Warrior has updated the Covert paint scheme with a much brighter orange that really catches the eye. The Covert QREdge looks as good as it feels. Grab one of these and your play will stand out just as much.
