No ResultGood for large round heads
I wear a size 8 hat, and this helmet in a Large fits perfectly. I think this works better for rounder heads as well (as opposed to more oval). This product is discontinued, but I found this helmet was more comfortable than its replacement. Hopefully, by the time I need a new helmet, there will be another one that offers the same/better protection but with a better fit.
Good option for clarity and protection
This is the second Concept III Full Face Shields that I have purchased and used. So, this review is based on the use of both of them as I found no difference between them (though I bought them about 6 months apart). These are a great product to keep the protection of a full face mask while minimizing the distraction of bars. The visibility through the mask is great. It has declined a little over time, but with a little cleaning gets back to almost good as new. To clean it I have found that using any kind of gentle soap works well (such as baby shampoo). I typically do this maybe once a month. When I first got my first mask I had some issues with fogging a little (more towards the end of games). Using some of the antifog sprays before a game seems to work well. However, now I have found I don't really need the spray anymore (I'm not sure if it is a change in my fitness, breathing, or what). I really just use the spray if I find that my mask could use a cleaning just before a game. But this is mostly when I haven't cleaned it with shampoo for a while. One thing to watch out for is that the chin cup can get pretty gunked up over time and should be cleaned out as well. Be careful if you take out the strap because it is not easy to get the fit just right when reinstalling it. I prefer to clean it all while still installed (though this isn't an option when it gets overly gunky). My last note is that I found the chin cup cannot easily be replaced. So, while it is not the highest end chin cup, it will be difficult to replace with anything other than an identical model. The fit issue has to do with the way the strap fits (which is required and somewhat unique compared to regular metal face masks). Issue: my only issue is that the screw clips at the top (that keep the mask attached to the helmet) are not particularly well designed. I had to take them out and flip them (so that the thinner part was against the helmet) in order to get it to screw in flush to the helmet (RE-AKT). I'm not sure if this is the exact cause, but I am unable to lift the mask. Fortunately, despite my large head, I am able to take the helmet off without any issue (at all) even with the mask down. If the clasps were improved (and if I could use a better chin cup), I would give this 5 stars for everything else.
Great full face visor for kids
My son wanted this since I use something similar. He has see out of it without any issues. Fits just right on Bauer youth helmets. Was able to swap out the strap clips with the ones the helmet came with (the helmet originally had the kind that slide off/on instead of snapping on).

Okay concept, but not clear in its purpose
This generally seems to do what it advertises. When you install it, it forces your breath away from going straight through the cage/shield. I used this with my full shield, and it fits. However, the way it attaches using included straps seem cheap. Certainly the straps are decent for what they are, but they should have been even better. And there are 2 in a pack, so that makes the value a little better. The biggest problem, is that it doesn't seem to add anything that wearing a mask already does. And while finding a good sports mask is not easy, it is still probably a better solution. If you find a mask that fits under a helmet that doesn't attach to the helmet, even better. And there are masks that do attach to the helmet, but are more traditional and include space for a filter which again is a better solution. It is not terrible, but I would recommend almost any other mask solution, and the way it straps to the mask/shield seems a bit cheap.

Good Wrist Guard so Long as it Fits
The material is comfortable and this provides a good amount of protection. The padding does not go all the way around the guard, so there will be an area that is unprotected, but the protection area is still a good size, and it is more likely you'll take hits from a particular side (top of your wrist). The only other issue is that fitting my hand into these was not easy. I had to get the largest size, and the material still only barely has enough give to allow my hand to fit. Still, the inconvenience isn't too much, and it is comfortable when on. I recommend this as long as it fits.
Best fitting mask with filter
I have a large head and even for masks that loop to ears, there are not a lot that fit comfortably. Fortunately, this has adjustable straps that fit even my large head. Sure, I have it pretty much maxed out, but it fits and covers my mouth and nose well. The filter fits in there fairly easily, and replacements are a decent price. If I had one gripe, it would be that the filters could fit even better into the mask (they are a bit smaller though they do seem to cover the mouth and nose). This has become my main mask that I wear on the occasions I need to leave the house.
Mostly great filters for masks
The filters are generally good, and they fit the mask they were designed for (mostly). My only problem is that they should be made to fit the mask even better. Though then they might not be as universal for other masks. I've used them in other masks, and they work well for that as well.
Good sports design, but too small
This mask straps go around the head. There is one that goes around the neck, and one that goes over the ear. This is a great design for sports as it gives the mask support when you are doing vigorous activity. The problem is that even the large size of the mask is too small for me. The straps are permanent, and I cannot stretch the bottom strap over my head at all. So, I cannot put this on correctly. I think this mask also has a hole for a drinking straw. I don't really care for this, but I don't think this impedes its safety effectiveness as the material seems adequately thick. For reference I wear a size 8 hat, and the largest helmets I can find. If this mask fits you, I would give it a try.
