Waste of Time

Bought this helmet today. When I got home and looked into the mirror, it is very bulky. Not even sideways, but straight up. I now know how Matt Hendricks feels looking ridiculous with his helmet halfway off his head. I don't see how this would be protective at all, it looks like it's made for a conehead. Usually Bauer makes great helmets, don't know why the Re-Akt is such a huge disappointment.

Best Protection = Best Fit

There's a reason why many NHL players used to wear this helmet and still do. The best protection is ALWAYS the best fit. I've tried on a ton of other helmets such as the Re-Akt, 11k, and top level Bauer models and none fit like this. The padding is extremely comfortable and molds to my head shape over time. I would wear this helmet on any level of hockey. It's the best hockey purchase I've ever made. Only downside is there is no screw free attachment.
