New hockey player, didn't like the rough tape grip, or a big knob on my stick. Coming from softball and field hockey i'm used to a thin soft grip. I found that this provides that similar feeling. Ive had it on for a about 6months, the top is starting to wear down a little now but i'm not seeing any wear in my gloves or anything out of the ordinary. I only play 1-2x per week though. Good for a beer leaguer.
