I was skeptical at first thinking it would provide too much cushion like other faux tape products, but it actually allows much more feel of the puck than you would think. It has a nice grip on the puck and allows you to lift your wrist shots much easier. Even though the paint color wears off quickly, it still retains its sandpaper grip. I have used it for at least 10 games now and still going strong; I will probably get about 15 games out of it before I replace it.
