Very comfortable fit.

I had another brand that fit awkward, wanted to push my jaws apart to an uncomfortable position while playing adult rec hockey. Bought this on a whim. I had to do the molding process about three times to get it right, but once I did, it was worth it. I can put it in before hitting the ice, leave it in the whole game, drink and talk with it in, and never have an issue. It's noticeable wearing it, but there's no need to spit it out while on the bench. It also stays in extremely well once it's fitted. I don't know how well it works in the protection area, and I hope to never find out.

Cheaper than rinkside repairs

Bought this after arriving at the rink with my grandson to find that one of his cage snaps came off the helmet and was nowhere to be found. Brought his helemt to the shop at the rink, and they charged me $5.00 to replace the snap. For an extra $3.00, I have cheap insurance with this kit in his bag. I also purchased one to put in my bag, just in case.
