WRONG SIZE CHART

The size chart on here is wrong. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Ordered a large according to this chart, but it was too big. Looked at the tag in the helmet and it has a completely different chart. Contacted Hockey Monkey customer support and they blamed Bauer for sending the wrong chart and would not cover my return shipping costs ($15-20). They have had this helmet for several years. Pure Hockey and Ice Warehouse both have the correct sizes listed online. There is no way they didn’t know about the wrong size chart. Even so, customer service (including the supervisor) refused to take ownership of this. It’s been 2 weeks of me sending a picture of the actual size chart from the helmet and they still haven’t updated it here. Also, I received a HECC 2018 certified helmet (it's currently January 2020). So you’re getting a helmet that’s already over a year old. I was still going to return it and eat the costs since I need a helmet. But after getting halfway through the return form that customer service sent me (there’s no online submission), I realized they sent me the return form for their baseball division. At that point I gave up dealing with customer service and took the helmet to my local shop for exchange credit and got the same helmet in the right size and 2019 certified. There's no denying Hockey Monkey has good prices - but they cut corners in customer service. For something that needs to fit right and costs a lot to ship back, you may be better off just going to a local store.
