Great Training Aid

I received the Helios Core as an ambassador. Their ambassador program is great and so is the core itself. The points and the hustle score make me work harder towards improving. My skating is one aspect of my game that I need to improve and the core is definitely helping me work towards becoming faster. I have also learned a thing or two about my skating, such as I tend to glide around a lot as my SPM (strides per minute) are a low number normally around 25. I think that is a cool aspect besides the core tracking your speed. For me only having about 25 SPM I have now changed my sharpening to 11/16 so that I can glide a bit easier. That is something I never thought that the core would lead me to, but it did. I was a little bit iffy on the sticker mount that mounts to your shoulder pads, but since trying it out it really holds up well. A strap does come with the core as well if you do not feel comfortable using the mount. It truly is a wonderful product and I highly recommend as a training aid for practice and also games.
