What a great helmet!!

I just received this helmet as a Christmas gift from my fiance. I may have picked it out, and asked her and my family to buy it for me...lol. My old helmet was 10 years old, and I knew I needed a new helmet. I've done a lot of research - this is the best helmet out there right now. I'm so happy that she got me this!! It's light, the air vents keep my head cool, and man is it comfortable. It's so much more comfortable than any helmet I've tried on before. I even tried on the Re-Akt 150, and this one is a better fit for my head. Plus, its shell/padding is thicker, so you immediately know that the Re-Akt 200 is more-protective than the next step down. 10/10 I'm very happy with this product. Some say that the price is too high...to that I say - if you want the best-of-the-best, the price doesn't matter. Shelling out $300 is better than getting a concussion, plus you're comfier while playing your favorite sport.

Nice Socks!

I bought the Navy colored ones. They're a nice snug fit around my shin guards, and the length is right. I'm 6'4", and I can tell you that the senior size is appropriate for me. They're of great quality, too. I also bought a pair of the Minnesota Wild away socks, just to have fun colors going on when I'm playing on white with our drop-in squad.

Roller blade hockey skates

Most of my gear is Bauer so I went with the skates but the issue was the laces. Waxed might have been better I guess. I couldn't tighten the skate enough. Each set of eyelets I tighten released as I moved up the boot. Clasps on ski boots worked better for me. I tried!
