Two reviews: based on what material is used.
I've had both a great experience with this product and a sub-par one. The difference seems to be with the manufacturer using two different molds and material formulas. The great pucks have a more matte finish and do not have a raised circular surface in the center of the puck. The great pucks slide well on an old coated concrete outdoor court and have not cracked in any way after repeated high-speed post impacts. The sub-par pucks are glossier with the raised circle. The material feels more brittle and indeed cracked in very short order. I do not know if Pure Hockey has any control over what they receive from the manufacturer but if you can get your hands on the better pucks I would highly recommend them for outdoor training use.
