Impressive
I decided to try the Tacks helmet after a teammate switched to it. I wasn't crazy about the design until I put it on. This helmet provides the best fit, feel, and protection I've ever had. I'm the smallest guy on my team, and get knocked down the most. I've collided (literally head to head) with guys twice my size, taken direct hits, slap shots, you name it. Despite all of it, I've not once come away seeing stars, concussed, or feeling any pain. It breathes well and stays in place. It has a nice amount of D30, which is comfortable and provides a lot of protection. After using the helmet for almost 2 years now it still feels new, and is one of the best pieces of equipment I've invested in.
