Well worth the price

As a newer player I knew I needed to be protected, everywhere. Even though it can seem cumbersome using a mouthguard with a face cage, the tether strap makes for simple detach and re attach for cleaning. I’ve use this mouthguard in a few games now and only notice that speaking with it in has been the only downside. It is well worth the protection over ease of speech though.

I think they’re ok

I am a new skater, only a couple of years in. Take this review with a grain of salt. These seem good. I think they hold edge longer than my SB blacks from my ribcore skates. I home sharpen with sparx using 7/16 edge. I find they get nicks Just like the sb black. The coating rubs off using a wissota speed stick. If plastic rubbing on it removes the coating how advantageous is it really. Because of the height I can get deeper in turns. All in all I’d buy again.

Decent high-quality heavy wax laces but prefer Elite ProLace model

I initially bought both Elite ProLace and Pro-s700 laces to replace some not-recommended AR waxed laces that lost ALL their wax after 3mos of daily indoor use. The amount of wax on the Elite ProLace is decent and doesn't wear off, but the laces have stretched considerably, originally ~244cm, now 273cm, and had to be shortened. This stretch didn't occur with the Pro S700 laces I had on a second identical pair of freestyle inline skates (Seba Igor-10's) used outdoors with an estimated 300 days use before they broke. The Pro S700 laces are very waxy and continue to hold their wax, which I like, though unlacing is easier with the Prolace model. I'm quite proficient at lacing using the "under then over" lace configuration on my skates, and find the ProLace model can be secured just fine with good lacing technique. My second pair of S700 laces is fraying prematurely and unclear why. I'll be buying the ProLace model in the future and will recommend them to my students at the skate school where I teach.
