Yes, it may be available for slightly less on line, but as a goalie myself ... absolutely nothing replaces putting on the boot and wearing them for about 10 minutes to get a good idea of what the feel will be. Our local store has a synthetic ice area so you can get a decent sense of feel for various positions and stances.
Great Skates
Very comfortable. It would be nice if you offered sharpening as they are not ready to use out of the box. I have not used them for playing goal only skating so far.
Great Value Skates
So far so good. So much better than my 20 year old Bauer 1000's. Pretty comfortable even after the first skate. They seem well made and I love the way they feel on the ice.
Good skate for the price
Ive had these for about 3 months now, they're great skates for the price. Breaking them in was a little pain in the beginning but once its broken in they're good skates.
Value, Protection and Skatability
Considering the big price difference between these skates and the next model I couldn't find a reason to pay more. My 9 going on 10 y/o is skating great with them in goal and they have excellent protection. This is a quality skate and all that even a serious youth player could want.
