Super comfortable glove, but palms wore out FAST

My PeeWee son got these gloves in November to replace a previous pair of CCM's. He loved the fit, and I can confirm I tried them on and they felt great. Unfortunately, despite taking very good care of them -- they're stored in an open-door locker at all times for effective drying -- the palms wore through in just over 40 hours of wear, completely worn through by mid-March. Given read more the level of play and the rapid pace of failure, it seems the palm durability just isn't there.

These gloves have made my game better and they are very comfortable. I would recommend these gloves to all hockey players.

CCM FT390

Yes I recommend the FT390, here is why: Introduction: Went into Hockeymonkey to try on a bunch of different gloves and here is what I found. I was looking for gloves in a particular price point. After trying on Bauer, Warrior, True, and CCM, I settled on the CCM FT390. Glove Look and Feel: Very good feel in the fingers and thumb directly on the stick, it's not bulky and you're read more above to move in them very well. The fingers feel is snug versus a Bauer so it stays on your hand and doesn't slip off. Cuff is open and not restricting, great for players who move and work the puck a lot. The FT390 is very similar to the FT1 gloves. My experience: I've been wearing this glove for a year, I still really like it and I think its a great glove, Great for wingers, for movement and feel, it really does fit like a glove, I would not recommend it for defensemen. The cuff is a bit low for D. I've taken a few slappers off the hand and the top of the hand protection is still solid but not as much as a 4 row. Wear: The glove will wear on the inside of the palm. Even with the additional layer, i am starting to see wear after a year. If you use grip tape or stick tape only you will see wear as both of those are rough on the glove palm. Switching to a tennis style wrap has helped give some more life to the glove. Changing the wrap is a recommendation if you're looking to preserve your gloves for a longer life.

Lighweight with great grip and thumb movement

I bought this guys on sale and have loved them. Alot of thumb action compared to others, the palm grips my lizard skin grip amazingly well. Great fit, less bulky then my bauers but the same protection.

Overall great product

Very comfortable gloves. No need to brake-in. Hands good protected. Looking great. Can not say anything bad about the product. Love my new gloves

Sillllllky mits!

Great range of motion in the wrist fingers and thumb while not compromising comfort. Too big for 13in and to small for traditional 14in gloves. These 14in fit perfect! The palm feels great with my stick, quick adjustments no problem. Catching passes reaching and pulling in no problem.
