Powerfoot Adrenaline Preformance Insert Review

Very good

I wear a Bauer Nexus 1N skate because I need the width in the toe cap. But with width comes height. So the fit always felt a little sloppy. I put these inserts in (very easy to do) and immediately they felt great. A somewhat sloppy fit became a great fit thanks to these inserts. So simple yet so effective.

Kid likes them

I figured it seemed like an interesting idea so I tried a set for my son. 6 months later he's on his 2nd set in his ice skates and also has them in his inline skates. He likes the comfort and feel of them.

Great add on

Definitely using in every pair of skates for now in. Takes the extra space out and adds comfort. Adds an extra snug feel too. Worth it, just wish it was a little cheaper.

Saved me from buying new skates.

Just getting into hockey and got a good deal on a pair of Bauer x500’s. They are good for a beginner but even though the length was good (my toes don’t quite touch the front) it still felt like my feet were sloshing around in the skate. Comfortable

About two thirds of the way thru my first beer league season I developed turf toe. In seeking solutions I came across these. They did help alleviate some of the discomfort of the turf toe but not all of it. They did make the skates more comfortable in the locker room but I didn't consciously notice a difference on the ice. I don't know if they made a performance difference, but… read more I suspect they would make a noticeable performance difference for a top level skater. It took nearly no time at all to get comfortable wearing these. Like all foams, they do compress and collapse some with use. Mine are installed in CCM Ribcores and I think I probably should have installed the included shim as well. Regardless, they are comfortable and did provide some relief from my turf toe so I'll buy them again.

Interesting product

Been playing hockey for years and definitely feels good in my skates. Makes the skate feel more comfortable and feels as though I have more control while skating. I highly recommend this product.

Amazing product!! Made a HUGE difference

Let me begin with I'm learning to play, almost a year learning to play the game I love. With that said, this has been an AMAZING addition to my skates! It has helped me keep my toes down, drastically improving my skating and stopping. Adding this has also helped me realize the skates I bought a year ago are not wide enough (even after baking) so I will be buying another one of these… read more when get a wider skate. Just one tip, use scotch tape to try the two possible widths because once the adhesive sticks it sticks.
