Snappy stick

I was expecting a little lighter in weight but super light stick anyways and I purchased the long one. At just over 6’ with tall steel on, this stick comes to the tip of my nose and I’m very happy with it. Pro stock with almost no blemishes as the stick looks unused. A little bit of that tacky grip and a low-med kick point it appears. The kick point is snappy and loads up heavy. With the most popular curve I am more accurate with this stick than any other stick I’ve used and it has been promoted to my primary stick. I see this stick being my new type and brand and will buy again.

Stick tape

Renfrew is the tape to get by popularity but it all seems the same anyways. All good as I use this for my stick grip. Everyone has their way and my way is to use tacky tape wrapping 10 times for the knob and then pulling the tape down and spinning it to create your raised grip. Wrap that grip down the stick and then put a single tape wrap covering over the grip on the way up. To finish, I use this grip tape to wrap the tacky tape and then use a lighter to burn off any stragglers.

Popular tape

Renfrew is the popular tape and if I'm looking for quality tape, I reach for this brand. Cloth tape is used from equipment, to blade, to handle. Personally, I use cloth tape for stick blade only. Wrap your stick from heal to toe and then apply some wax to keep the snow off the blade. You can use the tacky tape for stick blade but many, including me, will tell you there seems to be some feel difference between them with cloth tape offering a better feel, but hey how we do our sticks is almost a religion so don't let me sway you any different.

Renfrew is the popular tape to get

So this brand is popular and used by almost everyone that I know. Now the use of friction tape or tacky tape is some use it for the blade. I personally do not like it on the blade and use cloth tape with wax. I do use this for my grip by wrapping 10 times at the knob and then pulling length out and spinning it forming a raised grip that I wrap down the shaft. Once done I tape over the wrap back up to the top. To finish I use grip tape, the stretchy grippy thin stuff, and wrap one layer over the top of the friction tape. This allows me to burn more lights simply by its magical properties.

good value

Buying multiple helmets for my daughter and son, all of them priced higher than this one, I have come back to this helmet as the size seems "normal" for heads. CCM seems to have a slim head, giant jaw thing going for it and the bauer line seems more average. Please note that as your child moves from youth to small that the combo cage might not work, however the bauer prodigy cage will fit onto a small 5.0 and that combo works perfectly until they grow into the included cage.

Great youth pants

Bought a size small for a 4 year old with a good amount of growing room. My 7 year old could slip them on with some effort and were useable as well. At 7 years old you would definitely want the Medium for an average sized kid. The pants themselves are some of the best quality you can get and I tell my son that he's wearing the little mini version of Daddies pants, which he finds encouraging.

Indoor wheels

These are indoor wheels and should be treated as indoor only wheels. If you only use these indoors, you will have no issues. They are soft giving you better grip for indoor rinks but taking them outdoors will cause premature wear and they will chunk out. Labeda is a well known brand, so if you are looking for a good indoor set, these are it.

Indoor wheels

These are good inexpensive set of indoor wheels. These soft wheels will give you good grip on a indoor rink, however they should never be used outdoors. Using them outdoors will cause them to fail and to chunk out. If you're looking for a budget set that will perform good then this is your best value to performance you can get.

good length

I like these as they are a youth pair of socks that aren't as tall as the child wearing them. They fit, they're durable, they look great, and the kids like them so winning all around. If you have socks for the kids that you have to fold in half to fit and want something that will fit, then these are it.

Perfect socks

These socks are your classic socks and are super durable and well constructed. These socks are not excessively long and stick perfectly to Velcro. If you use a Velcro jock and want socks that can be pulled up and stuck without tape, then these socks are perfect for that use.

Cheap pair of utility shorts

I wouldn't call these good looking shorts, I'd call them a utility short. Buy them cheap and where it under your equipment. They ride above the knee and are true to size. 100% nylon mesh shorts that have no glamour and all just something to throw over your birthday suit. Use them as PJ's or throw some in your bag.

use under equipment

I don't know what to use these for except for under your equipment. Unless your hanging out at a large scale department store known for some shoppers that have peculiar fashion choices, you wouldn't wear these out in public. Maybe hunting camp or a locker room but don't go out and hang with your mom in these things.

Meh

This rag is like an unfinished product, rough cut and appears unfinished texture. Like furry and flaky but let’s be honest, it’s just to wipe down my blades and it does that all just fine. I’d buy it again, unless something nicer was discounted to the same price point.

This is the package to get

I liked this package as these pucks are significantly different. The snipe puck, which is supposed to mimic ice does not for me in stick handling but is great for shooting. The snipe puck seems to be heavier with more friction and on asphalt doesn't glide as well as the original. For stick handling or skating with a puck the original is much better and feels more realistic. For shooting the snipe puck feels more realistic. If I were to choose between the two, my go to puck is the original biscuit.

nice puck

The Green biscuits are the pucks that I go to when playing on asphalt. Know that the snipe puck is heavier than the original and that this puck is not good for stickhandling practice unless youre looking for a weighted puck for practice. It is a great puck for shooting and practicing shots. If you're trying to decide between the two and don't want to buy this and the original I would just buy the original otherwise grab the combo pack.

Good Sticker

Purchased two of these and applied them to vehicles. They are 5" and very visible and come attached to a sheet. First make sure you clean your glass, use vinegar if you have applied a RainX type film. You then peel off the top sheet and stick it to your vehicle while using your fingernail make sure you thoroughly rub the sticker all over to ensure no air bubbles and paying close attention to the edges. To finish simply remove the last sheet and the sticker is attached.
