Good for growing players

Great item, no complaining. Things to keep in mind. The length of the stick grow the flex will go down and an 12" will decrease it plenty. Second tip I found. Use extra hot glue inside the shaft. Mildly pre heat the shaft, apply end into shaft. Flip upside down once tightly fitted. Apply more heat while inverted to allow the glue to flow and remove voids. Keep inverted… read more until cool. Works every time....ps don't burn your stick...keep the heat gun at a distance and moving.

Fit well

Fit my son’s youth stick perfectly. We extended it to have it as a backup for his new longer stick.

Good but not great

Pros: Does a good job of extending your stick. It’s cheap so you can try different lengths without breaking the bank if you get it wrong. Cons: It feels a bit heavy on a lightweight stick It probably will get loose and have slight movement eventually.

Use for youth hockey sticks

For a successful youth stick application you will need to sand down end plug and re-apply hot glue in order to allow fit.

Stick Extensions

Easy addition for a stick after a growth spurt. Good price for length. Didn’t need 12” which seemed kind of wasteful. A 6” length with a little lower price would be good.

Good solid wood had it installed on my kids composite stick. Make sure it is sized correctly Sr Inter Jr etc. It was the only one they had in stock and they made it fit, good job overall and good product.

12 Inch Wooden Butt End

This lasted half a game and snapped in half. Have used shorter ends in the past without a problem, stay away from this length. Very disappointing.

Wood is Good, Fancy Sticks are Better

While I am a tall dude and have used many of these over the years, never has one broken. It's a solid choice over the warrior composite stick end, especially if you tend to change things up and need a new one every 6 months to a year. For the install, I almost have to use hockey tape within the glue area on the end as it is never a tight fit anymore. Generally taping around… read more once or twice with two to three rolls high does the trick for me. Keep in mind, when adding these to sticks they add a weight and an imbalance that I would prefer to do without. CCM and Warrior have 62" and 63" sticks now so this is a product that should be used less if you want to keep your game optimal. Again, it's all about personal preference, however at 6' 3" I bought my last one after I purchased a new set of warriors for the very reason I mentioned.
