Best helmet for price. Greatvorotectiij with middle of thr road price. Its comfortble and looks good. I got at least 20% more power on all my shots because of this helmet.

Missing the dial.

The rear neck pad keeps pushing it forward and obstructing my view. There is no internal tightening dial, which was indispensable wifi my last helmet. Bring it back! Otherwise, no issues.

Great helmet for fat heads like mine

For years I just assumed that hockey causes headaches (it does if you're an Islanders fan, but that's a different story). When my son got a new helmet at Pure Hockey the salesman suggested I try the Tacks 910. OMG, it was so comfortable I bought two... one in black for scrimmages and later a blue one to match my beer league uniform. Apparently I have a freakishly large noggin,… read more or at least an odd-shaped one. My hat size is between 7½ and 7⅝, but even the large sizes of other helmets pressed painfully on my temples. The 910 is the only one that's ever fit me right. Not the cheapest brain bucket for a weekend warrior like me, but worth every penny for the comfort and protection. It has multi-density foam pads and gel-filled cushions that (presumably) absorb a lot more impact. I've taken a couple of moderate shots to the head with no ill effects, other than a tendency to ramble incoherently in online product reviews.

CCM Tacks 910 Review

Very good helmet. Son does get a bit of discomfort with it from time to time. I do wish it was adjustable side to side as well as front to back, though. The Tacks 710 was. Don’t know why CCM went away from that.

Don’t buy 910 helmet

Helmet sits to low on forehead causing cuts on bridge of nose. The helmet is for people with high foreheads only Stick with a 210 or 310 I’ve gotten the same info from more than one equipment manager

910 is 9 out of 10.

I have a odd shaped head with thick hair when I let it grow. This thing hits perfectly with hair and without. The fine tune adjustment gives me any room and closure I need. Feels about as sturdy as my hard hat and climbing helmets, incredibly light, easy cage installation. The one draw back is I sweat a ton in this thing so maybe grab some sweat pads.

Very comfortable helmet with good adjustability. Haven’t taken any shots to it yet but seems like it would soften even a bigger hit

Very comfy!

Very happy with this bucket. I replaced a 710 with it that was a few years old and starting to disintegrate. The sizing and fit is very similar for my oversized melon. (I wear a large.)

Comfortable for my head

Great helmet, super comfortable, pretty decent airflow Just wish it wicked sweat a bit better, put a nosweat pad in there and that does the trick but at this price, kinda seems silly.

CCM Tacks 910 Helmet

Previously had the Tacks 710 in Medium, the new 910 run big so size down! I went with a small and had to adjust it a bit but feels great and very comfortable!

Good Helmet

My kid has a rounder shape to his head and the Bauer helmets were causing him pain in the temple area. The CCM 910 fixed the issue. It is very comfortable for him and has provided good protection in his first year of PeeWee hockey. I would buy it again any day.

Pricey, but very comfortable

Most comfortable helmet I've worn to date. Materials seem to be high quality and the fit-adjustment system was easy to use to ensure good fit. Thus far, very pleased.

Superior helmet

Superior fitting helmet for my head, along with superb protection. I've never spent this much in a helmet but figured it's beyond time after several head injuries in younger years. Eager to see how it lasts.

Great helmet... but lack a rear adjust...

My son loves this helmet. Super comfortable and looks great. However, it fit's a little different than his medium CCM Fitlite helmet because it lacks a rear dial adjustment for that fine hold to keep the helmet on his head without sliding. Overall, it is an awesome helmet but you should consider going a little smaller since it will slide a bit once you start sweating

Very comfortable but 2 issues.

Absolutely love the feel and fit of this helmet extremely comfortable however just 2 issues the forehead pad holds sweat and can't be removed to clean properly and after just 3 months the thin strap that holds the fluid bubble in became dry and brittle and fell out. That said even missing one it's hardly noticeable and still comfortable. Even with those couple of flaws id still… read more recommend this helmet if you can get it at a decent price point.

Bought this for my 12 yr old. He says best fitting helmet ever. Better cooling and new technology make this a great helmet.
