D30 and No Tool Adjustment
Great helmet and at the current price point a great upgrade from the standard learn to play equipment. Adjustability with no tools required makes sure the little player in your life gets the perfect fit in minutes. Make sure to watch the youtube video on D30 smart foam. Impressive stuff.

I purchased this helmet for my 5 year old son and it’s full of features we both love. You can adjust the cage height and length of helmet to grow with your child. I swapped the cage for the CCM full face visor, and if you do this you’ll need to get a helmet repair kit to put on the traditional snaps as this helmet comes with a quick clip type closure for the cage. We receiver it very fast but too small which was our fault, so took it back to the local store..super easy ..the customer service people were so nice and willing to help a Grandma out . Thank you!
Oblong cranium bucket
The helmet is nice, but it’s designed for kids with oblong shaped craniums, not round. We have to stretch the sides out in order to reduce pressure on the sides of his head.
Good helmet.
Fit well and easily adjust. I would rate it a 5, but it lost a face mask screw during the first practice. I tightened the other screw and added an additional screw. Seems fine now.
One flaw
The mask is attached to a plastic retainer clip. Ours broke and we had to replace the whole mask. The adjustable holder should be made of metal.
Seems like a very strong safe helmet. Fit perfect!

Great helmet for your young ones. Comfortable padding, good air flow. I love the cage snaps, easy to hook up with one hand and holds the cage in it's place well. Overall, amazing product.
Multiple features for proper fit!
I bought this helmet for all 5 of my grandchildren, ages 2 and a half to 6 and a half. CCM provides ways to adjust helmet, cage, and chin cup fit. This is superior to the Bauer helmet for youth. I needed to exchange helmets for two of the kids whise heads are too large for Youth size, to get the Junior size, which fit well. New Helmet
Had to come in and purchase a new helmet for my 4year old grandson. We came in and were greeted by a couple of employees. One of which helped us get the perfect helmet which my grandson loves
Great product
Our player had an issue with helmets with the regular padding where it hurt his head to wear it. This new style padding has been the solution and he loves the new feel and can not wait to play pain free in his games this year. Definitely was a great decision and do not hesitate if your thinking of getting it!

Great quality
This was a gift to my nephew as he is beginning to learn to skate. He was so happy to open this as this is one of the first pieces of equipment he received. Helmet looks great and of course is very safe. Nothing seemed to bother him about the helmet which was our biggest concern.

My son went from the ccm small to this and the helmet is great. No more headaches after practice! The cost jump is my only issue , but I am a new hockey dad and am still trying to adjust to equipment investment. Honestly this helmet should last a few years so it all works out. Hockey monkey shipping was great and we received our order two days early!

Very happy with my new helmet. I have worn it for 7 adult league games and I love it. Feels very high quality. I admit its on the expensive side but the quality is worth it.
