CCM FitLite FL40 Hockey Helmet Combo - Senior Review

Saved me from severe injury.

I have horses and part of their maintenance is trimming their hooves periodically. My neighbor asked me to trim her donkey so I bought your helmet combo as a precaution. Thank God I did because he kicked me in the forehead. That helmet saved me from a concussion and probably some stitches, possibly worse.

Not a great helmet

I bought this helmet when I first got into hockey and let's just say I do not want to stick with it. You can tell what price you paid for it based on the quality. It's a good helmet for kids or people who are in non contact leagues, but I wouldn't recommend it for adults just learning. Way to small, can't return

After taking measurements and following the size chart I purchased a medium helmet for myself. Once I got it and tried it on, it seemed snug but not out of the ordinary, had a game and went for it. I was very wrong. These helmets are terribly sized and after 30mins of play I was unable to focus due to how much this thing was squeezing my head. Buy a size larger

This helmet runs small! I used the sizing chart to select size. Thought I was buying a helmet that my daughter could grow in to well I was wrong! This helmet is slightly bigger then a youth large....

Low quality and heavy

Absolutely uncomfortable for me and heavy. After each game you have to check screws, otherwise you can easily lose details. Looking for another helmet...

Good value for a youth player

This helmet is just fine for kids at the mite/squirt level. It provides plenty of protection and the size can be easily adjusted. Until checking starts kids will find this helmet does the job just fine.

Outstanding

My 7 year old daugther wore a helmet tha doesn't fit properly, because it was second hand. Now it fit much better and the color (pink) is her favourite, so she is really happy with his gift. She will officially use it in a tournament. Thanks guys. Really nail it.

Flimsy junk

What do you expect for 50 bucks right? It did not fit my son very well, even though is head size fell within range. If I could have handled this helmet before buying, I never would have bought it. The plastic and Hardware is absolute junk and I would be afraid of what would happen if the helmet were needed for real. I have an older cheap bauer that is better quality.
